UK Today News: Rapper DMX aka Earl Simmons arrested again for violating probation
Earl Simmons, popularly known as Rapper DMX, has been arrested in Arizona in Thursday, for violating his probation. Reports say that the rapper was allegedly using cocaine, as well as Oxycontin without a prescription.
DMX was famous for tracks like “Party up” and “Get at me dog” in the late 1990’s. His first five albums were no.1 on the Billboard charts. Simmons has also appeared in various movies including “Belly”.
In the recent years, DMX has been arrested a few times by the law. The Maricopa authorities said that he has been arrested on five separate reasons post August 2007, before his most recent arrest. According to reports, Simmons was also in trouble inside prison, when he was kept under “lockdown status” and permitted to eat nothing else besides bread and water, after he allegedly threw a food tray at an officer in February 2009.
His next court date is on 25th November, 2010
