Roger said, “I do believe my situation has got that little star next to it. I am now the Wimbledon champion, and I think that gives me even more confidence coming to the Olympics. And maybe in some ways, it maybe takes some ‘pressure”. The Swiss player also admitted that there is a lot of hype around him playing the Olympics this year.

Roger also said that it is about winning and not just participating. The tennis champ will not be playing at the athletes village but will rent his usual house near the All England Club, which is an arrangement which worked well for the past fortnight.
