Deceased English singer and song-writer Amy Winehouse’s wedding outfit has been stolen from her London residence where she had passed away. The wedding outfit was worn by the singer when she married Blake Fielder Civil in Miami in the year 2007.

Apart from the wedding outfit, a newsprint cocktail dress has also been stolen, which had been worn by the singer for a live performance. The dresses were about to be auctioned for her foundation, which helps youngsters beat drugs and develop music.

The singers wedding dress was expected to be auctioned off for over £100,000 and the cocktail dress that she wore could have raised about £30,000. The cocktail dress was also worn by the singer on the ‘Later…With Jools Holland’ show. A spokesperson from the Amy Winehouse’s foundation had informed the media that the dresses have been stolen from the singer’s Camden home in North London.

The spokesperson added that the property did not appear to have been broken in to. He said, “Both the stolen dresses are part of Amy’s story”. Amy passed away in July 2011 due to alcohol poisoning, after a long battle with alcohol and drugs. The family of the deceased singer were cataloging her possessions in her home and only recently found out that the outfits were missing.
