UK Today News : Johnny Maestro, singer of bands like “The Brooklyn Bridge” and “The Crests” which had hits like “16 Candles,” “Worst That Could Happen,” and “Model Girl,” passed away at his house in Florida due to cancer. He was 70 years of age.
He has an extremely strong and powerful voice. Johnny Maestro continued to perform even as recently as last year.
He also formed “The Crests” in the early 1950s.
The Brooklyn Bridge is known as a rock ‘n’ roll and doo-wop band. His last ever performance was with them on Jan 17th 2010.
