UK Today News: Muskogee Mall Shooting – 17 Year Old Jarrod Reed Dead, 5 Injured in Arrowhead Mall Shoot Out
A shooting that broke out inside a crowded Muskogee shopping mall on Saturday, left one man dead and five people badly injured. Reports say that the shooting was the result of an alleged gang-related shooting inside Arrowhead Mall in Oklahoma.
17 year old Jarrod Reed, of Muskogee, was declared dead on arrival to the Muskogee Regional Medical Center, after being shot at the mall. The other five injured are currently being treated at nearby hospitals, while a 13 year old girl was taken to a hospital in a helicopter.
According to the police, the main suspects are Muskogee residents Daniel Jermaine Anderson, 20; Michael Mayberry, 16; and Anton Nelson, 17. No arrests have been made yet.
According to an eye witness – a mall worker – there were 10 to 15 people involved in an argument in the mall before one person took out a gun and then the shooting began.
