  • Well, she certainly is very, very pretty. There is no denying her beauty. Good for her! I’m also glad to see that no politics came into play here in regard to her Arab descent. It’s surprising that there is no “backlash” from the Muslim community. Perhaps there will be later on. Arab women are usually modest. We’ll see. Also, she looks a bit like Kim Kardashian, doesn’t she?

I am happy to see her crowned despite the fact she paraded in revealing clothing and dresses against Islam. Not all Muslim women cover themselves from head to toe but some modesty is key( I dress very modern without reveling too much). While she had no modesty,NO Muslim has the right to judge her and protest her at all. Only a true Muslim knows judging others is against Islam. (Though I wish she didn’t wear her bikini..but then its her choice. Between her and God)

Ahem.. she is Lebanese- many of whom are actually Christian. Not all Arabs are Muslim. Funny how media is too busy spinning the “OMG FIRST ARAB MISS USA EVAR!!!” angle to point this out.

I’m from the US (Irish and German mix) and I totally agree with ReadBetterYall. Most Americans don’t have a clue about Lebanese Christians or who is who. The real point is who cares? She’s stunningly beautiful and won the contest. I think they chose very well. ‘Nuff said!

She is gorgeous. I love that she represents America today. Being a second generation American of Puerto Rican descent I applaud her accomplishment as a woman who embraces her citizenship, yet acknowledges her heritage. Being originally from NYC and proud I appreciate her love for her hometown in Michigan. Bravo, Miss USA…btw, I think you’re prettier than Miss Kim…still love ya’, Kim.
