Whitney Miller is a student of the University of Southern Mississippi and studies nutrition and biology. As the MasterChef winner, she goes on to win $250,000 as well as the chance to create her very own cookbook.

After a very close chance of losing out with a culinary disaster, she gave her all to her dish (country fried chicken, turnip green pesto, white chocolate bread pudding and corncake) and after winning the competition Whitney said: “My seven-minute chicken recipe is definitely going in the cookbook.”

Whitney was the youngest contestant of this season, and she told reporters that she always wanted to join a culinary school, but gave up on her dream because of fears that she would not be able to manage her career.
