UK Today News: Around 1200 Workers to be Laid Off From NASA
Many NASA workers are going to be jobless from today. According to the reports, 1, 200 and few more people are going to be relieved from the NASA projects and the strange part is that the government sanctioned a $19 billion budget for the agency, recently.
The Deputy Administrator of NASA, Lori Garver informs that the budget and the planned layoffs have nothing to do in common and that the layoffs will take place according to the plan.
Thursday was the last official working day of these people in NASA and Friday, would be seen as the formalities completion days, where all the legal paper work would be done.
The NASA Reauthorization Act, that was passed recently gives NASA the authority to work with the US President’s strategy for NASA.
