Bob Hoskins retires from acting after diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease

English actor, Bob Hoskins known for playing Cockney rough diamonds and gangsters, said that he would be retiring from acting. Hoskins said that he has had a wonderful career and will now retire after he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 69.

A statement was released from his agent which said, “Bob Hoskins wishes to announce that he will be retiring from acting, following his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease last autumn”. The 69 year old actor has a career span of about four decades and was most recently seen in Snow White & The Huntsman, in which he was seen playing one of the seven dwarves opposite Kristen Stewart.
