Senna was extremely shocked by the teams short notice that mentioned possible financial issues. Senna will return in the next 15 days for the next round in Germany.

According to the team statement, “In respect to the rumours about Bruno Senna’s current status with Hispania Racing, the team wants to confirm Bruno has all our support, he remains one of Hispania Racing’s official drivers, and that he will continue to drive in the remaining races of the 2010 Formula One world championship.”

The reason why Bruno would not be racing is given in the team statement. It says, “Hispania Racing has decided to give an opportunity to one of its four drivers, Sakon Yamamoto, for this race.”

It is alleged that Japan’s Yamamoto must have paid a good amount to have been able to replace Senna in the Grand Prix.
