May revealed that the legend will be appearing during a special performance of West End musical We Will Rock You.

May further revealed that the production team had been working on different ways so that the late singer could be presented on the stage during the tenth anniversary show for some time. The guitarist also stressed that the new effect was not a hologram and called it an optical illusion of sorts.

May added, “People will come out saying, ‘did we actually see Freddie?’” it was further hinted that the musical might employ a similar technique to the one used to make the late rapper Tupac Shakur perform on the stage at the Coachella music festival.

May also said, “It’s a little unfortunate they did that thing with Tupac as we’ve been trying to make Freddie appear on the stage for quite a while”. The guitarist while talking about the new technique said, it is something they have looked at themselves as they have been trying to make Freddie appear on stage for quite a while.

The chart topping band member surprised his fans by announcing on Twitter. The singer wrote, ‘Sorry to announce that I have to miss the last 4 days of the Snow Patrol tour, have to get back to England, but I’ll be back in June and Sept’.

Sheeran added, ‘Hope everyone understands, lots of love… So sorry to cancel, have to get home for personal reasons.’ At the same time the singer seemed desperate to compensate to his fans and assured that he would return to the States later this year for his own tour. The British singer added that he will be returning in Autumn and will be doing a 2 hour set. But even then the singer did not seemed satisfied and wrote, ‘I’m announcing a full US and Canada headline tour beginning of June, for anyone that’s missed out on shows this time round x.’

Sheeran for the Irish fans said that he would soon announce the Ireland and northern Ireland shows. The Northern Ireland will be represented by Snow Patrol when they will be playing at the London’s Hyde Park, where they will be celebrating the beginning of London 2012 Olympics on July 27, 2012. Ed has earlier claimed awards for Best British Male and Best British Breakthrough act at the Brit Awards held in the month of February.

In a way, it is also a good news for the fans to know that the singer will be retuning with his own tour rather than in a supporting act role. Sheeran cited personal reasons for the sudden withdrawal from the last four days of the tour.

The singer’s album ‘21’ outsold the veteran musician’s Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.

The album has now become the fifth biggest selling album of all time in UK. The figures from the Official Charts Company revealed that Adele’s album sold 4,274,300 copies, which is 500 more than Jackson’s album.

Moreover, the album is continuing to sell 20,000 copies a week. Martin Talbot, the director of Official Charts Company said, “To add to her many landmark records, Adele’s achievement in overtaking Thriller in the all-time sales list is truly remarkable”.

Talbot added that ‘Thriller ‘ has been recognised as one of the most iconic albums of all time and now there is no doubt that 21 can be spoken of in the same breath. Since the time of the release, the album of the British singer has spent 23 weeks at the number one position and has also managed to outsold the hit albums including Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of The Moon and Dire Straits’ Brothers In Arms. Adele has also created history by claiming six Grammy awards along with two Brit Awards.

The UK dates also includes their own one-day festivals.

The special shows have been titled as ‘Gentlemen of the Road Stopover’, which will be outdoor events and features a line up by the band. Some of the supporting acts include The Vaccines, Willy Mason and Michael Kiwanuka. The folk stars, in a statement, said that they want to stop off in towns which are not usually heavy toured by bands and celebrate the food, people and music that inhabit them.

Moreover, the band will also be playing a series of smaller concerts in the month if May and June. The tickets will be available from April 20 through local outlets. Here are the dates the band will be performing in UK.

May 30 – St David’s Hall, Cardiff
May 31 – Leas Cliff Pavilion, Folkestone
June 2 – Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Huddersfield – Mumford & Sons + Michael Kiwanuka, Willy Mason, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Correspondents

The 33-year-old at present holds the record for having the best selling album for his 2004 LP ‘Confessions’. Now that the British singer is fast approaching towards breaking Usher’s record, the dancer and actor is supposedly made an appeal to his fans with a hope that they will not buy Adele’s album.

While speaking to Capital FM, Usher said that he is keen to hold his ten year long record. Even on the Breakfast Show, the singer told the hosts Lisa Snowdown and Dave Berry that he has told a few people not to go an buy Adele’s album as he does not want her to go and break his record.

However Usher added that he actually loves her and unfortunately she is the closest to breaking his record for the last ten years. During the interview, the American singer revealed that he has teamed up with a UK super producer Labrinth on a track for his album.

Price Tweeted, “I’m recording my 1st single 4 my forth coming album with Dane Bowers & David Anthony the producers x”. Earlier the model stated that she was planning to cut her own long player and also mentioned working with the US reality TV star Heidi Montag.

Katie aka Jordan had earlier too attempted to become a rockstar but could not get enough response. In the year 2005, the model failed to secure UK’s support to compete in Eurovision but did manage to get in to No 12 in the official K Singles chart with a ‘Whole New World’ in the year 2006.

The latest single of the model ‘Free To Love Again’made it to number 60 in the year 2010. At that time, the singer had also given a second thought on giving up on her pop dream.

In the past, Price has been involved in many relationships and had been married twice in 2005 to Peter Andre (which ended in divorce in 2009) and later in 2010 to Alex Reid. The  couple separated in 2011.

British singer Adele, who made her come back with the major event, walked away with six of the awards for which she was nominated, which included Song of the Year, Coveted Album of the Year for her hit ‘Rolling In the Deep’, Best Pop Vocal album and Best Short Form Music Video.

Kanye West took three awards out of the seven categories for which he was nominated, but the rapper skipped the show this year and wasn’t there to receive the award. West won Best Rap album for ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, while leaving behind Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco and Jay Z. Kanye also claimed Best Rap song and Best Rap Collaboration.

The other major winners for the night included Foo Fighters, who took home five Grammys that included Best Rock Album for ‘Wasting Light’, Best Rock Performance for ‘Walk’, Best Long Form Music Video for ‘Back and Forth’ and Best Hard Rock/Metal performance for ‘White Limo’.

American indie folk singer Bon Iver won the award for Best New Artist and the album claimed the Best Alter native album leaving behind Radiohead, ‘Death Cab for Cutie’, ‘My Morning Jacket’ and ‘Foster the People’.

The Grammys night was also lucky for Skriller, who won three Grammys for Best Dance/Electronica album, Best Dance Recording and Best Remix Recording.

Late singer Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett’s duet ‘Boy and Soul’ won the Best pop Duo/Group Performance.

Bruce Springsteen won Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package for ‘The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town’.

Arade Fire, who were last year’s big winners also won Best Recording package for their film ‘Scenes From The Suburb’.

The singer cancelled the concert after her album ‘Born To Die’ album leaked online.

MTV, the hosts of the concert, released a statement which said that Lana Del Rey was regrettably not able to perform at MTV UK Brand New for 2012 show at London due to illness. The statement added that the singer sent her apologies to her fans for the cancellation.

The songs of the album, Off To The Races, Blue Jeans, Video Games, Diet MTN Dew and Radio leaked online before the official release scheduled on January 27, 2012, and the concert was cancelled immediately after the leak.

In a report of her Saturday Live performance online, Lana said that people were expecting her to fail and even refused to give her opinion on how she felt over the comments. Del Rey stated that she thinks it is disrespectful to God to go to the dark place with this kind of thing. The ‘Video Games’ singer also said that people wanted to see her ‘off the rails’ and that is the only reason they are watching.
