The Miss World 2009 pageant is buzzing with actiity since the final begins in a day.
Bookies on the other hand seems to be trying to figure out which of these 112 beautiful women will go on to take the Miss World 2009 crown.
There are however, 5 clear favorites for the crown.

Miss World 2009: Miss Barbados Leah Marville tops betting odds for the Miss World crown
Miss Barbados Leah Janine Marville is among the top 5 favorites for the Miss World 2009 crown – if betting odds are to be believed.
Leah is a Barbadian international Model & TV host. After walking for many fashion shows, Leah was signed to South African agency Base Model management as well as German model agency East West Models.
The gorgeous Miss Barbados also has a degree in law and a cordial. She was the executive producer of her own show Passport 246
The 59th Miss World Pageant takes place on December 12, 2009 and will see the current Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia crowning her successor at the end of the night.

Miss World 2009: Former Miss World and Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra is one of the judges for Miss World 2009
Priyanka Chopra, a former Miss World and Bollywood actress will be on the panel of judges for the Miss World 2009 pageant. She will be one of the special guests for the event and will appear before a TV audience of one billion on Saturday 12 December.
The dazzling two-hour extravaganza will take place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg and will display the beauty and talent of 112 of the World’s most beautiful women,
According to the Miss World Organizers, China’s leading TV presenter Angela Chow and South African TV host Michelle McLean will be the hosts for the Miss World 2009 pageant. Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra from India will then join then as well.
Priyanka Chopra who won the Miss World crown back in 2000 and is now one of Bollywood’s (India) biggest actresses.
India’s entry to the Miss World 2009 pageant is Pooja Chopra.
Miss World 2009: Miss USA Lisa Marie Kohrs hopes to be crowned Miss World
Miss United States, Lisa Marie Kohrs is one of the 112 contestants of the Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant to. The 59th Miss World Pageant takes place on December 12 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This Miss USA contestant has a major in Broadcast Journalism at Pepperdine University.

Lisa is involved with Agua para la Vida – an organization bringing water systems to villages in Nicaragua and Latin America.
This 22 year old beauty hopes to get the Miss World crown back to the USA.

Fergie and Josh want to have kids soon
“Glamorous” singer Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel plan on having babies really soon. According to reports, the couple will be trying for a baby once Fergie wraps up the Black Eyed Peas tour wraps up in April.
Fergie told reporters: “Am I getting broody? Oh, definitely! But I want to finish this tour first before trying to start a family. We’re never going to be at this time of our lives again so we have to make the most of it.”
The singer also said that she has a very interesting secret to a successful marriage – the golden answer happens to be “fun”.
“It’s been a lovely year, but I’m missing him now as I’m on tour with the Black Eyed Peas. It’s a month since we saw each other, but we talk every day. It helps that Josh is in showbiz too. I’m a fun wife, I think. I’m not much of a homemaker, but I do love to cook. We have a lot of fun together, which is very important,” Fergie told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine.
She seems to be missing Josh a lot since she’s on her Black Eyed Peas tour but she insists that she talks to him every day.
Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren buys a $2 Million House in Sweden
Former Swedish model Elin Nordegren has reportedly bought herself a new house – miles away from her husband Tiger Woods and his long list of affairs.
The new $2 million home in Sweden is supposedly called Faglaro Mansion. This move by Elin makes us wonder whether she plans on getting her kids there are well- as a result of her very unfaithful husband’s multiple transgressions.
A Swedish News agency said: “The official story from her family is that she bought the place with her twin sister, Josefin, not with Tiger”.
Elin has already moved out of Tiger Woods’ home and has maintained her silence about his infidelity. With more affairs coming into the light everyday, it will be no surprise if this long suffering mother of two will leave the famous golfer.
Tiger Woods’ string of affairs came into light after he crashed his car sometime last week.
The current count of Tiger’s affairs has gone up to 14 and Elin has hired a top divorce lawyer to negotiate her divorce to Tiger Woods.
Amy Winehouse reunites with her ex- Blake Fielder-Civil
Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse went to a drug rehabilitation center in Sheffield, England , to meet her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and the two have reportedly got back together if sources are to believed.
This news is very disappointing for Amy’s family and friends who have been trying their level best to get Amy back on track – after her drug addictions.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “The romance is back on and everyone is frantic with worry. They have vowed to one another never to get back into drugs. But together they just went into self-destruct mode — and it was their separation that saved them.”
Blake is said to have got a new tattoo of the “Rehab” singer’s face on his hand to mark the rekindling of their romance.
Mitch House, Amy’s father who has made it public about his dislike for Blake is very disappointed since he blames Blake for all of Amy’s drug problems. The couple divorced in August this year.
Amy’s Dad is allegedly making a pre-nuptial agreement, just incase the couple remarry again.
Amy and Blake have been known to be having openly flirting on Facebook since their divorce and even hinted on getting married again.
Miss World 2009: María Milagros Véliz Pinto to represent Venzuela Miss Venezuela 2009
The stunning María Milagros Véliz Pinto will be Venezuela’s entry at the Miss World 2009 beauty pageant that takes place on December 12, 2009 in South Africa.
Maria took part in the Miss Venezuela 2008 beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Venezuela Mundo. No doubt, this beauty has her eyes on the crown after the many crowns that contestants form Venezuela have already won in the past.
More recently, her compatriot Stefania Fernandez won the Miss Universe 2009 pageant earlier this year, and who knows if she goes on to make her country proud like Stefania.
Rapper 50 Cent hopes to collaborate with Britain’s Susan Boyle
50 Cent has declared that he happens to be a big fan of a lovely lady. Any guesses who? It is none other than the lovely Susan Boyle.
The “Candyshop” singer is so much in awe of the Britain’s Got Talent finalist that he told the media that he plans to sing a duet with her.
In an interview, 50 cent said: “She’s got an amazing voice, and together we’d get everyone dancing. I’m always looking to do something new and she’s cool, so I’ll ask somebody to let her know.”
He reportedly told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “I got to get her on a track, for real. We’d make a hit.”
“Kiss from a Rose” singer Seal is also known to be appreciative of the “I dreamed a dream” singer. He said: “She sings because it’s her form of expression and if she doesn’t she will become ill. It’s her way of release.”

Hulk Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel to tie the knot soon?
The most famous professional wrestler of all time – Hulk Hogan got engaged to Jennifer McDaniel, his girl friend of 2 years.
So it looks like even after his divorce from his ex Linda and the alleged suicide attempt, the wrestler is still winning to give love another chance.
Hulk and Linda got married in back in 1983, and then began their divorce proceedings in November 2007 after Linda started dating a man – who was the age of her daughter Brooke.
An ugly divorce battle stemmed from here, as she began dating a dude the same age as their daughter Brooke. They finally settled their divorce this July.
Hulk’s new wife –to-be Jennifer also has the former WWE wrestler’s first name tattooed on the inside of her wrist.
Hogan told reporter in an earlier interview, “My marriage to Linda was very toxic and very negative. Jennifer is just the opposite, she doesn’t drink or get high on drugs.”
The couple look very much in love with Jennifer sporting a huge engagement ring. Wedding bells round the corner Hulk?
