Grammy Awards 2010: 3-D Tribute To Michael Jackson & MJ’s Kids to Accept Lifetime Achievement Award
The 52nd Grammy Awards takes place tonight and there are reports that a special Michael Jackson tribute is set to take place too!
Grammy award winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, and Usher will unite together, along with the voice of Michael Jackson, in a very heartfelt tribute to the late King Of Pop Michael Jackson.
This Grammy Tribute will also show a never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for one of his famous songs called the “Earth Song” – which was created for his much-awaited “This Is It tour”.
In addition to this tribute, there are also reports that Michael Jackson’s eldest children, Prince Michael and Paris, will most probably be accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award award on behalf of their late father at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
This year, there seems to be tough competition between Beyonce and Taylor Swift and the world is waiting to see who will take home the most number of Grammy’s.

Miss America 2010 Winner: Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron – Video
The Miss America 2010 winner is none other than Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron .
The announcement was made at about 11pm EST yesterday and Miss Virginia beat 52 contestants from all 50 states including the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico to take the title of Miss America.
Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron is from Fredericksburg, Virginia and is a graduate of Massaponax High School. As part of the Miss America 2010 title, Cameron has received a $16,500 scholarship as well as $1,000 talent award for singing “Listen” from the film “Dreamgirls.” The 22 year old’s platform issue was “Real Talk: AIDS in America.”
The first runner up was Miss California, Kristy Cavinder and she won $25,000.
The judges for the Miss America 2010 pageant were radio commentator Rush Limbaugh, Miss America 2001 Katie Harman, Hollywood actress Vivica A. Fox, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, Dave Koz, former “American Idol” contestant Brooke White as well as actor and comedian Paul Rodriguez.

Grammy Awards 2010: Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas are Hot Favorites Tonight
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center on Sunday at 6pm ET.
This year the top contenders are Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
The “Halo” singer Beyonce, who already has 7 Grammys as a solo artist — besides the three as a member of Destiny’s Child — has a leading 10 nominations heading into “music’s biggest night,” while the 19-year-old Swift has eight.leads the Grammy nomination list with 10 nominations followed by country singer Taylor Swift.
Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and Kanye West have six nominations each. Another favorite being Lady Gaga.
19 year old Taylor Swift is hopes to get a Grammy after 2009 made her rise into fame after her wins at the American Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.
The Grammy Awards ceremony is also expected to have a tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, which will feature singers Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher. The tribute is also set to include a 3-D mini-film “Earth Song,” which was supposed to be a part of his “This Is It” tour.

Brittany Murphy’s Death Investigation Reveals More of Her Unknown Medical History
Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy’s death investigation has dug up some new never-before-known information about the star’s medical history.
According to TMZ, Britanny Murphy was reportedly suffering from a bad case of anemia in addition to some other conditions while she was still under doctor’s treatments. It was also reported that she last visited her doc months before her death!
In addition to this, a pathologist assigned to the investigation case has been told by the late actresses’ friends and family that there were some other doctors who treated her during the final months.
The pathologist is also investigating what medications were prescribed to her by the other doctors and if it is in any way linked to her untimely death.
Even though the toxicology report is not completed yet, it is expected to show the drugs in Brittany Murphy’s body at the time of her death – and if in any way it is linked to the doctor’s prescriptions.
Miss America Pageant 2010 Live Tonight in Las Vegas – Clinton Kelly and Mario Lopez to be Hosts
The Miss America 2010 is all set take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The Miss America Pageant – which is in it’s 89th year – will begin at 8pm EST on TLC and will be hosted by the gorgeous Mario Lopez and What Not To Wear’s Clinton Kelly. The judges for the event will be Vivica A. Fox, Katie Harman, Shawn Johnson, Dave Koz, Rush Limbaugh, Paul Rodriguaz Rush Limbaugh, Brooke White and Paul Rodriguez.The current Miss America 2009 – Katie Stam from Indiana – will be crowning her successor at the end of the event.

Reports say that Miss Michigan and Miss Oregon have already won awards during preliminary competitions in Las Vegas with Miss Michigan Nicole Blaszczyk winning a $2,000 scholarship thanks to her dance performance while Miss Oregon CC Barber won $1,000 during the swimsuit competition.
Jordan Hicks Announcement Takes Place Today
Jordan Hicks, who is rated as the No. 1 football recruit in the Ohio, has announced this afternoon that he will play college football at the state of Texas later this year.
The announcement was made by the 6-2 Hicks in a press conference at Lakota West High School.
The 220 pounds Hicks, had brigouth down his choices to Ohio , Texas and Florida. The announcement took place at Ohio at 1 pm EST today.
Hick is know to be the number 2 ranked in the nation, as well as the winner of the Dick Butkus Award which is give to the country’s best high school linebacker.
Greg Oden Leaked Pictures a Publicity Stunt or Mistake?
The search for the reported nude pics of Greg Oden has created a lot of curiosity in the reason that the star has released such pics.
Some have passed this off as a publicity stunt but these”dirty pictures” of his upper body and lower parts are enough to make the net buzzing to get a first glimpse search for them.
Update: Rumour has it that Greg was sending the picture to some chick who he was flirting with and she went on to leak it online. Greg has apologized for it. There you have it!
The pics are allegedly posted on the World Star Hip Hop website, and Greg has issued an apology for his nude photos being leaked online.
Being an NBA player like Greg Oden and getting involved in such controversial things is some kind of risk , but no one seems to be complaining about the pics just yet.
Jasmina Anema Loses Her Fight Against Leukemia at Age 6
Jasmina Anema, the very courageous 6-year-old girl from New York City who is known to have been battling leukemia, has died at the age of six. Jasmina is known to have touched Rihanna’s heart who then did all she could to help the girl.
According to the girl’s mother Thea Anema, Jasmina’s year-long struggle against this dreadful disease came to an end at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday night at NYU Langone Medical Center.
The spunky 6 year old was admitted to hospital on Monday morning, after she started suffering from a fever and shortness of breath. It was later diagnosed as pneumonia.
Back in February 2009, celebrities including “Umbrella” singer Rihanna encouraged thousands of people to come forward and see if they could be bone marrow donor for Jasmina.
Even US President Obama, met Jasmina in December, and was all in praises for the young girl’s fight till the end.
Obama said: “Jasmina showed tremendous bravery in the face of adversity, and her ability to stay positive throughout her battle was an inspiration to me and to all those she touched.”
Serena Williams Beats China’s Li to reach the Australian Open Final
Defending Australian Open champion Serena Williams has made it to her fifth Australian Open final after beating China’s Li Na 7-6 7-6 on Thursday.
Serena was seen to be very patient in the game and didn’t seem pressurised by the 16th seed. China’s Li Na on the other hand was enjoying every moment of her first ever first grand slam semi-final but did give Serena a good fight.

Williams told reporters about her match: “I really should have won sooner, she played well. Every time I had match points she came up with a big serve or amazing shot.”
Rock Bands Creed, Godsmack, Alterbridge Donate to Haiti Relief
Rock bands Godsmack, Alterbridge, Creed and the guitarist of rage Against the Machine – Tom Morello – are the newest donors who have partnered with a multi-media company called DC3 Music Group tp provide help to the survivors of the devastating eathquakes that hit Haiti two weeks ago.
The musicians efforts helped to pack an MD-80 airplane with useful essentials as well as medical personnel to help people in Haiti.
Reports say that the plane carries 10,000 pounds of medical supplies, plus doctors and medical staff, to Haiti and will leave on Han 27, 2010. Creed’s Scott Stapp is in Haiti and doing all he can to help in relief work.
Sully Erna of Godsmack said: “Since I can’t be there to help in person, I want to make my contribution as a fellow human being to give what I can while I’m in the fortunate situation that I am to help those that are so unfortunate in this time of tragedy.”
Many celebrities have donated thousands of dollars to help the survivors of the Haiti Earthquake and more recently the Haiti telethon raised $ 58 million.
