The multi billion dollar Shanghai expo took off today in which the commercial capital of China would like to show its financial capacity and commercial capability to the world.
Around 180 countries and almost 57 organizations from all over the world will showcase their culture in the expo which is going to last for a long six months.
The Chinese government have already spent around $50 billion and put in eight years in the event to show off its technology and technological inventions.
The main site has been designed in such a way that it should be as environmental friendly as it can and the use of zero emission vehicles showed that China is thinking on a greener side.
China has hosted the event not only to show of its technological capability but also to make better relations with the countries that have come and to help their economy too. Countries have come to China to improve their monetary status by making their relations with China better

Halle Berry and her boyfriend Gabriel have finally called off their four year long relationship, now they are working on the custody of their two year old daughter Nahla.
The Oscar winning actress had met Aubry at a Versace shoot in 2006 and then they got into a relationship, two years later their daughter was born.
As a matter of fact, Berry never minded the 9 year age difference between them and that’s the reason it seems they never got married. She in an interview stated that she was feeling more married than her prior marriages and that they are very true together and that’s more important than a piece of paper that makes a marriage.
When she was asked whether her relation with Aubry be long enough, she simply never answered the correct way, saying that for the moment she is with him, and it feels good.
Even when she was uncertain of her relationship with Aubry she told Ellen DeGeneres that she wanted more children.

UK Today News: Dorothy Provine of ‘Mad World’ Fame Dies at 75
Veteran actress Dorothy Provine, best known as the wife of Milton Berle in the TV series of the 60’s caled “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world,” has died. She was 75.
Her mourning husband, Robert Day, 43, told the press that she died of emphysema at Silverdale’s Hospice of Kitsap County which around 10 miles from Bremerton, Washington.
Provine had acted in a number of movies like – Bonnie Parker Story, Live Fast or Die Young and The 30 foot bride of Candy Rock, to just name a few.
Dorothy Provine also appeared as Pinky Pinkham ABC TV’s own “The roaring 20’s”, and she also appeared in TV shows such as “77 sunset strip” and “Hawaiian Eye”.
Her loss will be felt by a host of people who will be mourning for her, including her son and her three sisters.

Who is Alejandra Campoverdi? Ali happens to be a former model/actress and was allegedly dating Jon Favreau.
For those of you who do not know who Favreau is, the you should know that he is Barack Obama’s speech writer and is in a way greatly responsible for Obama’s win.

“Graduating from USC with a degree in Communications in 2001, Ali Campoverdi went on to earn an MA in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government last year. Along the way, she appeared on TV in “For Love or Money” and in the movie “Constantine.” In November 2004, she modeled for Maxim.”
Sources say that she is no longer dating Jon Favreau.

United Continental Merger: The US airline industry will witness two of the biggest airlines in the country – Continental and United airlines – signing a merger that will possibly result in the world’s largest carrier in terms of number of passengers.
According to reports, there was an attempt at a tie-up between Continental and United two years ago, but it failed. However, the talks began back again earlier this month and hence the Continental – United merer will be coming into being with the new deal likely to be announced this Monday.
United is undoubtedly the bigger of the two airlines, and the new United and Continental merger would create a force larger than the Delta and Northwest merger.
So how big is the United-Continental deal? United has a staff of around 46,000 people and operates 3,300 flights a day to 236 destinations. Continental, on the other hand has a 43,000 strong workforce and and flies to 265 destinations.

Arizona Immigration Law Update: The widespread opposition to the new Arizona immigration law has led to Arizona lawmakers modifying the law late on Thursday, in order to calm the unrest over the Governor’s decision to permit the police to ask for a person’s immigration status and thereby racially profile Latinos while in search for illegal immigrants.
Arizona’s immigration law makes it a state crime if a person is found without proper immigration papers in the state of Arizona and it permits the police to decide whether people are residing illegally in the United States of America.
According to reports, after three federal lawsuits were filed challenging the new, the change that was decided in the final hours of their legislative session was removing the word ‘solely.’
Lyle Mann, who is in charge of training of police officers in Arizona, told the Arizona Capitol Times:
“It should quell the fears that a lot of people have vocalized, this will make the training and policymaking much clearer and simpler.”
The Arizona immigration law has been criticized by President Obama and singer Shakira (in pic above), even though 51% of Americans – in a poll – said that they are in favor of the law.

UK Today News: 2010 Flying Pig Marathon – Cincinnati Marathon Takes Place This Sunday
The Flying Pig Marathon 2010 takes place live on Sunday May 2, 2010 in Cincinnati and this also happens to be the 12th annual Flying Pig Marathon.
The Cincinnati marathon begins at 6:30 a.m. with at least 100 ’streakers,’ – runners who get he tag after finishing all 12 “Pigs” by the end of Sunday.
Sunday will also see the half marathon, the City Dash 4-person relay as well as the Paycor Corporate Relay.
Sources say that the registration for these events will be available at the P and G Health and Fitness Expo on Friday and Saturday. There will however be no on-site registration on Sunday.

Many days have gone by ever since the oil spill of the British Petroleum-operated Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion took place in the Gulf of Mexico.
It has been gushing out gallons of oil ever since the oil rig disaster and reports say that the company told the Government that the situation was under control and that they could handle it. The truth however was shocking because even after so many days of hard work by the company, it was just impossible for BP to make things come under control as the oil spill turned out to be five times larger than it was previously reported.
Due to this Oil spill issue, the government on Thursday stepped in and called this an immediate emergency. Many days after the incident took place, the Coast Guard officials still insisted that most of the oil spill was burning off and there was no danger of a major catastrophe. However, this was not the case.
A White house spokesperson said that accidents like this do happen, but that does not make the Obama government back off the plans of expanding drilling offshore. The coast guards were relying on BP’s stats on the Oil leak reports, as it was told that 1000 barrels a day were spewing out. However the big shock came when the government found out that it was around 5000 barrels a day that was spilling into the sea.
According to Dallas News: “By Thursday afternoon, Obama had ordered the Defense Department to help and the White House had assembled a team of top advisers to showcase the administration’s determination to head off the damage posed by the oil slick.”
Reports say that BP is shedding £4million a day as a result of the oil spill.

Chelsea Handler – who only last year posed naked for Playboy – is reportedly starring in a sex tape that is with RadarOnline.
The Chelsea Handler sextape is not the cliché adult video tape type. But when contacted, the TV host alleges that the so called “sex-tape” was a ‘sketch’ from an old comedy show. Chelsea made it when she was 23 and had just moved to Hollywood.
The sex tape is now in the hands of RadarOnline, and they allege that it has some really explicit sex scenes.
The anonymous source who released this information said:
“Chelsea, who is on all fours on a bed is naked and at several times during the filming she looks directly at the camera. Her breasts are bare and swinging during the sex act. At the end of the “performance” Chelsea’s partner speaks in a clear British accent, asking, “Did we get the (bleep) shot?” Chelsea looks into the camera and smiles at this point.”
When contacted about the sextape, Chelsea Handler told the media:
“I would like to say to RadarOnline.com, thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, and number two, it was made as a joke. I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club, because I’m a comedienne, and I’ve been showing it at birthday parties for (expletive) years!”
So is this really a sex-tape or just some kind of joke? This is something we will get to know in due time.
