Halloween 2010 celebrations are set to begin in a few days time, and people have already selected some innovative costume ideas to make the night of October 31 a memorable one.

Before you know it, it will be Halloween night and if you have not chosen your costume yet, here are some handy ideas. People can opt for the traditional and “always in fashion” Halloween costumes like that of a ghost, vampire, fairy queen, pirate, Frankenstein, witch or comic book characters like those of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Mandrake among several other including Iron Man and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
If historical costume ideas is your cup of tea, then opt for dressing up as people did back in history like Cleopatra, Napoleon, Abe Lincoln, George Washington, Einstein a Mummy or some kind of European or Egyptian king.

Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador has been tested positive for a banned drug. But the Spokesperson for the cyclist said that the sportsperson was suffering from food contamination and that the further information would be given by Contador himself at a press conference that is scheduled on Thursday.
The winner of the Tour de France of 2010 was tested for clenbuterol. It is a stimulant that helps in increasing one’s breathing capacity. The substance is also consumed for increasing the flow of oxygen in the blood vessels.
The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has informed that Contador is temporarily under suspension after the failed tests. The statement by the UCI said, “The rider had been “formally and provisionally suspended as is prescribed by the World Anti-Doping Code” after both his A and B urine samples tested positive in a laboratory in Cologne, Germany.”
The press conference today will clarify Contador’s side which will indirectly help is coming to a certain conclusion regarding the case.

Tony Curtis Dead – Tony Curtis has died on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest in his Las Vegas home. The father of actress Jamie Lee Curtis, was reportedly admitted in hospital in July for an asthma attack and was not well. He was 85.

I keep hearing that people want to work with me, but none of that has ever materialized. I love to perform, and I’m sure I will enjoy singing and dancing in Bollywood.”

‘The Flintstones’ was a Hanna-Barbara production that was first aired on September 30, 1960 and ran successfully for six years till April 1, 1966. The animated series’ most loved characters include Fred, Wilma, , Betty, Barney, Pebbles, BamBam and Dino, who are still being imitated after so many years.
The Flintstones were the ‘new’ Stone Age animated cartoon series which stopped airing in 1966, and it even had a movie based on the characters called Viva Rock Vegas, which was released in 2000.

A Member of Parliament (MP) of the New South Wales (NSW), Clover Moore urges the newly appointed Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard to allow the Labor MPs to exercise free vote for introducing new legislation of ‘same sex marriage’.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Moore said,
“I ask that you provide for a conscience vote legislation that would allow same-sex couples to marry.” She further adds, “All adult couples making a life commitment to each other should be able to marry if they wish and I share the view that it is not fair to deny anyone that right because of their gender or sexuality.”
Moore even has introduced legislation, the right to adopt children for the same sex couples in the New South Wales Parliament. The bill got its clearance in the month of September, this year.

Robyn Whitehead’s death investigations led to an inquiry of musician Pete Doherty, which revealed the was in possession of cocaine at the time of Whitehead’s death. Whitehead’s death is said to be the outcome of an overdose of cocaine.
The 27 year old filmmaker was working on the documentary, ‘Road to Albion’ based on the life of Pete Doherty before she died in an apartment in Hackney. Meanwhile, Doherty along and two others were arrested for an alleged offence committed during the same period as that of the filmmaker’s death.
The other two arrested, include musician Peter Wolfe, 42, who was charged with supply and possession of cocaine. Lipstick Melodies singer, Alan Wass, was charged with possession.
Currently the trio are free on bail. On 19 March 2010, the musician was arrested on suspicion for supplying controlled drugs. Then he was reportedly released on bail. Doherty again faced a stint with the cops just a few months ago in June, when he was refused entry in the US after being detained for 10 long hours.
