David Beckham surprises children of London school

British footballer, David Beckham appeared in a school in London during the morning assembly to be a part of some of the Paralympic sports, the school has been promoting. All the staff of the Vaughan Primary School in north west London did their best by maintaining the secrecy before the visit.

The sudden appearance of the former England captain drew cheers of excitement among the students. Beckham joined the children aged between three and eleven to play blind football and also took part in a sitting volley ball match.

At the Vaughan Primary School the Paralympic sports is a regular part of the curriculum which promotes appreciation of disabled sports. Beckham while with the children appreciated all those who participated in the campaign.

Beckham said, “For the kids to try this, two million kids around the country have now tried a Paralympic sport, that’s an amazing number and it’s going to inspire a number of kids now, with disabilities and without disabilities, to take part”. Beckham has been involved in encouraging children to lead active and healthy lifestyles. The footballer also said that the children are so honest and that it has been a long time since he was in school apart from his sons’.
