UK-based 4G carrier EE has begun offering its SIM-only plans after the delayed launch of its LTE packages, following testing troubles. The new plans offer a monthly discount in regular charges, but the exact amount will depend on how willing subscribers are to tie themselves to the carrier.

The new plans will rely on users bringing their own 4G compatible devices like the unlocked iPhone 5, which the Apple store offers in Europe. A spokesperson from EE said that the offers will initially be available online, or over the phone via their customer care services team. The 12-month plan is £15 cheaper per month than the 24 month plan.
