Una Healy flaunts sexy figure post pregnancy

Irish singer and song writer, Una Healy on May 15, 2012 showed out a fine figure, despite her claims that she has become ‘squidgy’ after giving birth to daughter Aoife Belle, two months back. The 30 year old made an appearance at the Heathrow Airport, while she was dressed in skinny jeans, wedges and a figure hugging vest.

On March 13, 2012 the singer gave birth to a daughter and took two weeks off before returning to The Sats to promote their new single 30 days. The singer said, ‘[Aoife] She was a healthy 7lb 13oz but with the fluids and all that I lost a stone when she came out. Since then I’ve lost another stone. I’ve just been eating really healthy’.

Despite showing up a fantastic figure the singer still insists that her body hang ups. Healy added, ‘I’m very squidgy! My belly is so soft.If anyone saw the state of what’s under here… the belly!’ Una is also keen to get back to her fitness regime as soon as possible.

Healy also revealed that she was very fit and healthy throughout her pregnancy and that she cannot properly exercise as she had a caesarean section.

Michael Caine locked in attic overnight after shooting

English actor Michael Caine, while shooting for his upcoming movie, at the shooting set and was trapped overnight. The 79 year old actor was shooting for ‘Now You See Me in Low’s State Theatre in New Orleans.

The actor reportedly fell asleep after the shoot and when he woke up from his nap, he found that that the entire crew had left without him and locked the doors and left him in the dark. Sources from the production unit said that after a long day of shoot, Michael decided to have a nap upstairs.

But unfortunately the actor did not hear the directors calling a wrap and was left behind in the dark. The production took it for granted that he was safe in his trailer outside. When Michael woke up he found himself locked in the dark and could not even make a call as his cell phone was in his trailer.

The actor shouted out for help but he had no option than to wait until morning for someone to come and rescue him. An onset carpenter came to his rescue when he returned to the sets to retrieve his tools. Caine that morning was given an off to recover.

Dancing dog Pudsey all set to begin movie career in Hollywood

After winning the title of the Britain’s Got Talent, on May 12, 2012, Dancing dog Pudsey is on his way to Hollywood. Simon Cowell, how is delighted at the win of the dog, has vowed to make the dancing pet a huge star, after its win along with 17 year old owner Ashleigh Butler.

The novelty act by Pudsey became the hot favourite, while it competed against the other competitors like opera singers, Jonathan and Charlotte between emotional scenes at the live TV final. The Welsh choir Only Boys Allowed secured the third spot.

Cowell has now planned to send Pudsey to Los Angeles in his luxury jet to launch his movie career. However, the producer did not keep his promise that he made earlier that he would dance with him if he wins.

Ashleigh and Pudsey from North hampton managed to woo the judges Amanda Holden, Simon and David Williams, as they performed their routine on the theme of Mission Impossible and Simon called it sensational. Cowell also expressed that they are one of his favourite acts and that he adored both of them. William also encouraged the winners saying that the nation has fallen in love with Ashleigh and Pudsey.

Kym Marsh forgives fiancé Lomas for being unfaithful

After Jamie Lomas was photographed in a hotel with another woman, fiancé Kym Marsh said that she has forgiven him. Marsh admitted that she was angry and upset when the pictures were made public in a newspaper of Jamie, when he was seen asleep on a bed with a girl.

Jamie in clarification told OK! magazine that he had been out to party with friends, who invited the girls back to their hotel and fell asleep. But the girl then took the advantage of the situation. Kym said, “Of course I was annoyed, upset and angry – any woman would be. I was annoyed that he let himself get in that situation, I was annoyed that there were girls in his room, but I trust him and there’s no way he’d cheat.

But then the actress said that she has forgiven him for that mistake and that he known that he was wrong. Even Jamie said that he loved Kym and his family and would not do anything to jeopardise that.

Earlier this year Kym denied the reports that her marriage with Jamie was on the rocks, when he had been to Los Angeles. The couple has been engaged for more than two years and have now set a date for the wedding this summer.

Once again the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has proved that she has a love for the affordable high street brands. Middleton recently made a public appearance in an affordable outfit on May 13, 2012 when she watched her husband Prince William play in the Audi Polo Challenge 2012.

The Duchess opted a printed turquoise long sleeved dress from designer Sophie Cranston’s label, Libelula. Kate paired the dress with summery crocked wedges by Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley.

The Duchess of Cambridge was in Ascot to cheer her husband as well as Prince Harry, while they competed in the annual polo event. Middleton also took along her cocker spaniel puppy, Lupo for the trip.

Moreover, of the fans of Kate like the dress and want to own it, then some of the friends of Libelula have revealed that the dress is currently being sold out on the e-boutique and are also putting the design back to the production with the next lot expected to hit the website in the coming weeks. Even the shoes are in the Russell and Bromley Stores at an affordable price of £235. But the stock is not expected to last for too long.

Peaches Gedolf and Thomas Cohen unveil baby Astala

British journalist and TV presenter Peaches Geldof and partner Thomas Cohen, recently for the first time showed off their new family member born last month. The engaged couple posed with their baby boy Astala in a photoshoot for OK! Magazine.

Thomas in the picture is seen standing behind Peaches while the model is seen gently holding Astala in her arms. The 23 year old new mom to a baby boy also revealed the horror they had been through after Astala wsa born.

It was revealed that the TV presenter had problem in breathing as soon has the 3.2 kg baby was born. Geldof said, ‘I was yearning for that skin-to-skin contact and to not be able to hold him and nurse him and comfort him was so upsetting’.

It was Cohen who cut the baby’s umbilical cord when he was delivered through a Caesarean section. The baby since then has made full recovery. Peaches also revealed how proud her father was to receive his first grand child. The TV presenter said, ‘He was incredibly gentle with Astala; he took him aside and was so quiet, which isn’t something my dad’s renowned for. The journalist also said that her father branded her Astala as a girl’s name.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has never disappointed her observers, during her public appearances. Once again Middleton stunned when she arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London to mark the countdown to the much awaited Olympics.

The Duchess, for a change appeared in a different look and carried a different hairstyle and also a different attire. Kate wore a turquoise blue gown by Jenny Packham, who is one of her favourite designers.

The Duchess accessorised her look with a matching clutch, diamond drop ear rings along with the same Jimmy Choo heels that she wore it to a private dinner earlier in the week. On the other hand Prince William was in one of his finest forms and referred himself as a ‘mere mortal’ when he took centre stage to address about 3,000 guests.

William said, ‘Naturally, I was asked to compete for Team GB in every sport, but sadly Lord Coe said there were London pigeons with more athletic prowess than me’. The prince also added a serious note that these games remind us of the power of the human spirit and human endeavour. Last year, Prince Harry, William and Kate were formally announced as official Team GB and Paralympics GB 2012 Ambassadors.

Edward Lear honoured with plaque in London

British author illustrator and author, Edward Lear has been honoured with a green plaque in London. The plaque was unveiled on May 12, 2012, on the day which would have been his 200th birthday.

The plaque has been placed at 15 Stratford Place in Westminster in London. The place is a site were the author lived from 1853 to 1869.

The new plaque has been placed at the Westminster Council’s scheme to mark buildings which are associated with people who have made some remarkable contributions to the society. The artists was born in Holloway and was brought up in Grays Inn Road.

The author is known for writing the Owl and the Pussycat. Robert Davis, the council’s deputy leader said, “Edward Lear was one of the finest artists of his generation and anyone who has ever raised a smile to a cheeky limerick has Lear to thank for his creativity in popularising the poem”. Davis added that the author travelled extensively and worked all over the UK and Europe. The council leader also said that this was the perfect day to pay tribute to him which could have been his 200th birthday. Till now 97 plaques have been put at the council honouring people.

The 21 year old showed off her svelte figure at the official launch of the single in London on May 9, 2012. The singer appeared in a tight skin fitting Kim West rubber dress. The upcoming singer looked sensational while she arrived at the Asprey’s flagship store in Old Bond Street.

Rita along with the sexy outfit sported a pair of United Nude Boots. Rapper friend Tinie Tempah, also joined the singer at the official launch of the singer. Tempah was clutching a bunch of flowers or her to celebrate the recent success.

The single R.I.P is the lead single from the singer’s debut album and is also her first solo record since she signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label two years back. Ora was brought up in West London but was born in Pristina, Yugoslavia. Later the singer moved to England with her family when she was just a baby.

Freddie Mercury to appear on stage in Queen Show?

It has been revealed by Queen guitarist, Brian May that British musician and singer Freddie Mercury will be appearing on the stage. May revealed that the legend will be appearing during a special performance of West End musical We Will Rock You.

May further revealed that the production team had been working on different ways so that the late singer could be presented on the stage during the tenth anniversary show for some time. The guitarist also stressed that the new effect was not a hologram and called it an optical illusion of sorts.

May added, “People will come out saying, ‘did we actually see Freddie?’” it was further hinted that the musical might employ a similar technique to the one used to make the late rapper Tupac Shakur perform on the stage at the Coachella music festival.

May also said, “It’s a little unfortunate they did that thing with Tupac as we’ve been trying to make Freddie appear on the stage for quite a while”. The guitarist while talking about the new technique said, it is something they have looked at themselves as they have been trying to make Freddie appear on stage for quite a while.
