Kate Middleton tops Best-Dressed List 2012 of Vanity Fair

UKTodayNews.com: Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge has managed to top Vanity Fair’s annual international Best-Dressed list for the third year in a row. The prestigious ranking which appears in the September 2012 issue which also has some of the big names in the fashion world like Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger and Lea Seydoux along with the much loved New York Times street styling photographer Bill Cunningham.

Kate won praises from home grown designer houses like Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperly and Mathew Williamson as well as High Street brands. However the Duchess of Cambridge was the only Royal to make it on the list. Price Harry also features at number 27, while Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark were at number 35 and 32 respectively.

The royals also appeared alongside fashion industry players like Alice and Olivia designer Stacey Bendet, Stella McCartney and Odcar de la Renta PR Erika Bearman. But the men were not behind, as Gisele Bundchen’s husband Tom Brady made it to the list. Surprisingly the super model herself could not make it to the list.

Many of the couples also features as a single entry. Colin Firth appeared with wife Livia  who regularly appears on the red carpet.
