There seems to be some stiff competition between the Kentucky Derby 2010 contenders. Barely a day after Kentucky Derby favorite Eskendereya was pulled out of the Derby due to an injury, reports say that trainer Todd Pletcher has announced that Rule would also not be a part of this year’s Derby.
However, even though Pletcher has lost two colts for the derby, he still has four others for Saturday’s Run for the Roses which include Devil May Care, Super Saver, Mission Impazible and Discreetly Mine.
Reports say that Interactif maybe “unlikely” to start, but this is yet to be confirmed.
The 2010 Kentucky Derby will take place this Saturday at Churchill’s Down race track.
