The coin will be available for £9.99 for collectors, and according to official images releases, it has an embedded image of the couple and has been approved by Queen Elizabeth, William and the British government.

The £5 coin has been designed by Mark Richards, who is a Fellow at Royal Society of British Sculptors. The Royal Mint said that the coin was due to become legal tender on 16th March, 2011, and for many, this will be one coin they are not going to give away.

On it’s website, the Royal Mint said that massive demands are expected for the Royal Wedding commemorating coins, as the event is going to be a grand one and will be followed across the world. During the engagement of William and Kate, the Royal Mint had produced a coin to mark the announcement of their wedding.

But several critics and Royal watchers have alleged that the image in the coin had no resemblance to Miss. Middleton.
