Uruguay vs South Africa World Cup : On Wednesday’s Uruguay vs South Africa World Cup match, the host nation had to take a massive beating when Uruguay thrashed South Africa 3-0 in Pretoria, SA.

Uruguay’s Diego Forlán was undoubtedly the star of the match after scoring twice in the 3-0 victory on Wednesday night and sending South Africa closer to leaving the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the first round.
Forlán scored in the 24th minute, and then later in the 80th minute when he converted a penalty kick into a goal. Alvaro Pereira later scored the third goal for Uruguay in injury time.
The win has helped Uruguay and they play Mexico in the next match on Tuesday. South Africa next plays France.
