The name Eeyore is actually used to signify the phrase “hee-haw,” which stands for the braying sound made by a donkey.
Eeyore’s birthday is usually celebrated on the last Saturday of April. According to Zimbio: “The tradition started when college kids decided to throw the party in honor of the depressed donkey as a way to celebrate spring. It stuck. The first event featured a trashcan full of lemonade, honey sandwiches, and a live donkey.”
