Grammy Awards 2011 nominations – Eminem, Bruno Mars, Lady GaGa among top nominees

The announcement of the 2011 Grammy Awards nominations saw rapper Eminem earning the most number of nominations – ten in all, due to his hit album ‘Recovery’. The Grammy nominations were announced live from the LA Live Plaza in Los Angeles, by Stevie Wonder and Selena Gomez on Thursday.

After Eminem, break out artist Bruno Mars got seven nominations while, Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga got nominated for six awards each. Justin Bieber, the Canadian popstar, was quite surprised when he was nominated for two Grammys including ‘Best New Artist’.
