UK Today News: British actor Frank Skinner recently revealed that he is to become a father at the age of 55. The comedian announced the news to the radio listeners on January 28, 2012.
Skinner is expecting a child with his long time partner Cath Mason, an agent. The actor has earlier shared a flat with fellow comedian and Fantasy Football co-host David Baddiel.
The actor shared the news with the Absolute Radio listeners as he celebrated his 55th birthday. Skinner initially spoke in hushed tones then cleared his throat and said that he has something to announce and said that he is going to be a father soon.
Co-presenter Alan Cochrane then joked and asked the actor if he was paranoid of any jokes he made about ageing fathers in the past. Skinner has been recently made the host of Frank Skinner’s Opinionated, which is broadcasted on BBC 2. The actor also has a regular column in the newspaper The Times. Skinner even contributed Ukulele parts to a song by Fairport Convention known as the Ukulele Central that was featured on their album ‘Festival Bell’. In the year 2009, the comedian was awarded his secondary honorary degree from the University of Wolverhampton. The actor also describes himself as the supporter of the Labour Party.
