Adele leaves behind Michael Jackson’s Bad?

UK Today News: British songstress Adele continues to break all the records, which is the best that she always does. But this time, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer has left behind the legendary singer Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ album in the UK.

The 23-year-old singer now has the eight biggest selling album of all time, after claiming six Grammys and also winning at the Brit Awards last week. The sales of the album has reached up to 4.02 million, according to the Official Charts Company.

Now the singer has another challenge to beat Dire Strait’s ‘Brother In Arms’ and Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side of The Moon’ and needs to sell 150,000 more copies to leave them all behind. Pink Floyd and Dire Straits are now at the seventh and sixth position respectively.

But now it has been a long time since there have been any changes in the UK’s top five selling albums. At present, Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits’ at number one with the sales of 5.83 million. At the second position rests The Beatles’ ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band  with 5.4 million. But according to some recent reports, the British singer will be taking a break from the music industry so that she could concentrate on her relationship.
