Swiss tennis player Roger Federer managed to dodge the defending champion Novak Djokovic 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-3 and reached the final of Wimbledon 2012. Federer has been a six time champion and produced a vintage display to beat world number one Djokovic on Centre Court.

With the recent win, Federer managed to maintain his record of never losing a Wimbledon semi-final and reached a record high showpiece match at the All England Club with the help of his dominant performance on Centre Court. The first two sets were shared in less than an hour while the match came alive in the third set.

Djokovic gave a good smash at 15-30 to give Federer two set points. The first one was saved by Djokovic with a forehand but Federer missed his chance and won a sensational 20 stroke rally with a smash to glide within a set of the final.

On the other hand Djokovic could not come up and dropped serve early in the fourth set as Federer rolled in to his final at the grasscourt Grand Slam since he beat Andy Roddick in the year 2009. Federer expressed that he is ecstatic and played great tennis today. The Swiss player also expressed that it was a tough match but had a lot of fun.
