English singer and songwriter Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones have walked out of the reality show The Voice UK after just one series. Reports say that Jessie has left the show to concentrate on her upcoming UK tour which would have clashed with BBC One talent series.
Initially it was predicted that Sir Tom was advised to leave the show which suffered a substantial dip in ratings from 12.1 million to just 5.1 million in week 10 by his management. Tom while speaking to comedian Rob Brydon on his chat show recently confessed that there were a few details which needed to be ironed to before he confirmed his place in the judging for the second series.
Tom said, ‘I think I will do another series. We are talking about it now. But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out. One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don’t want to be sitting there with somebody that I don’t admire or particularly like… there are a few of them!’
But the good part is that Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue are staying back but the question is who will be filling the empty spaces.
