Software giant Microsoft has decided to change its logo which is for the first time in 25 years. The giant has used its italicised logon since the year 1987 and is expected to unveil its new more colourful logo on August 24, 2012 at the Boston opening of the 23rd Microsoft store.
The logo will also appear at the Seattle and Bellevue Microsoft stores. The new logo has a multicoloured Windows symbol in addition to the Microsoft name in straightforward. The new logo has come at a time when it is preparing to launch new or significantly updated version of nearly everyone of its products from Windows Phone to Office.
