Nissan announces recall of Quashqai vehicles in the UK

Auto manufacturer Nissan has confirmed that it has recalled 7,000 Quashqai vehicles in the UK. The company said that the car has been recalled for a reported steering wheel fault. Nissan has recalled vehicles which have been manufactured between February 27 and May 16 last year.

Car dealers across the UK are contacting the owners of the cars in question. Nissan UK also clarified that there will be no cost to the drivers for any remedial work.

The vehicles which are made in Sunderland are also sent across the globe. Some 51,000 export vehicles are in the recall and the models affected also include Quashqai, Quashqai+2 and Nissan NV200.
