British singer and Grammy award winner Adele gave birth to a baby boy on October 19, 2012. The news was revealed by a source in the UK which said that the couple were over the moon.
In the past few days there were speculations that the ‘Someone Like You’ singer would give birth in the month of September. After the announcement of her pregnancy, Adele has been silent and also maintained a low profile.
Adele revealed in the month of June that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki. The singer wrote in a post, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together”. The chart topping songstress also said that she wanted her fans to know about the news directly from her.
The ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ singer also requested her fans to respect their privacy. In the month of August, there were strong rumors that Simon and Adele had tied the knot, but the news was denied by the singer. Simon, the former financier and co-founder of Life Water, has been married before and also has a child from the earlier relationship. The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer recently released her latest song; a soundtrack to the James Bond movie ‘Skyfall’.
