American actor Ashton Kutcher is busy preparing for his upcoming biopic based on the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ life. The actor Tweeted a split screen picture of himself and Jobs on Twitter recently showing the resemblance between him and the tech pioneer.
Many people might even find it hard to tell who is who in the image. Kutcher tweeted with the pic, “Thank you Sundance for your support of Jobs [sic].” The movie ‘jOBS’ premiered earlier in the month of January 2013 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Despite the subject, so far the critics have not been huge fans of the film, but they have praised the 34-year-old actor for his ability to capture the look and mannerisms of the former Apple CEO. The movie ‘jOBS’ stars Kutcher along with Josh Gad, who will be seen playing the role of Steve Wozniak.
Gad made an appearance on January 31, 2013, at the Macworld trade show in San Francisco, where Kutcher spoke to audiences. The actor spoke about his experience during the preparation of the role, which also included adopting the diet of Jobs that contained fruits. The diet adaptation for the actor had landed him in hospital with pancreatitis during the first few days of filming.
