UK Today News: Emirates Flight almost crashes due to Air Pocket
An Emirates flight from Dubai to Kerala was in great danger when an air pocket made the flight lose control and made it fall almost 15,000 feet.
An official said that the aircraft fell sharply from 20,000 feet to 5,000 feet before the pilot got the flight back under control.
Due to this, a lot of passengers suffered in panic and bruises to a few passengers when then aircraft made the fall all of a sudden.
When the aircraft landed safely, doctors examined the passengers.

A downward air current that forces an aircraft to lose altitude all of a sudden is called an air pocket.
