The Yazoo tornado ripped across cities from the central western border and flattened a church, pulled roofs off, overturned cars and caused chaos all over.

Reports say that there were tornadoes in Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama, as well as severe weather was observed in Georgia.

The tornado ripped across Yazoo County, after then heading off northeast to neighboring Holmes before striking Choctaw.

According to the Washington Post: “In northeast Louisiana, several people had minor injuries. The storms also damaged a tank at a chemical plant in Tallulah, causing a small nitrogen leak.”
