Kevin Costner Oil Spill: It has been four weeks now that BP has been struggling to deal with the leak from the oil well in the Gulf of Mexico, and for the moment now, there has been not much of a progress. Hollywood star Kevin Costner has come to the rescue of the oil spill with a helpful idea.
According to reports, Waterworld actor Costner has invested almost $24 million on the centrifuge technology, and BP is ready to put it to test next week. They will lower it into the sea and start separating oil and store it in petroleum tanks.
Costner’s business partner, John Houghtaling II told the press:
“It’s like a big vacuum cleaner,” said Costner’s business partner, John Houghtaling II of New Orleans, “These machines are ready to be employed. The technology is familiar to the industry.”
