UK Today News: Brett Michaels Back In Hospital After Suffering Warning Stoke, Hole in The Heart
Brett Michaels Back In Hospital: Brett Michaels is back in hospital after he suffered a “warning stroke,” or a what is also known as a “transient ischemic attack”, according to his official Web site. He experienced numbness on the left side of his body.
The 47 year old Poison singer was just out of hospital and appeared on Oprah after being treated for a brain hemorrhage; and is said to be recovering from it.
A message posted on Brett Michaels’ website stated that he “was readmitted to the hospital this week after suffering numbness on the left side of his body, predominantly his face and hands, which doctors described as a transient ischemic attack, or warning stroke.”
Reports also say that after after administering tests, his doctors discovered that he has a hole in his heart.
Joseph Zabramski who called the news as “devastating news” also said: “The good news is that it is operable and treatable, and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the transient ischemic attack. However, we feel it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered a few weeks earlier.”
Brett Michaels’ fans hope that the singer and Celebrity Apprentice finalist gets well soon.
