UK Today News: Official States There Will Be Significant Arrests During Belfast Riots
Belfast riots :The riots in Belfast, Northern Ireland, have taken another gruesome turn, as six shots were fired at the police by a mob during the riots on Tuesday.
In the Ardoyne region, petrol bombs and pipe bombs were used on the police forces, later the police used water cannons and baton rounds to douse out the crowd.
Prime Minister Cameron, while speaking with the Commons, stated that this sort of violence and riots is unacceptable and the PSNI were forced to react on the crowd. Chief Constable Duncan McCausland stated that even children who were 10 years old were a part of the riots.
Speaking about the significant arrests, there would be many significant arrests during the riots, and he promised that they would not be left to go free.
The matters in the PSNI heated up when a rioter dropped a concrete block on a policewoman, literally injuring her seriously. The Chief has promised that the assailant has been identified and is due to be arrested.
