American Idol 2004 winner, Fantasia Barrino has reportedly been hospitalized in North Carolina, after a suspected drug overdose on Monday night, according to the Charlotte N.C. Television Network. The cause of the overdose has been attributed to aspirin and sleeping aid.
Reports state that Doctors have said that the harm to her is not life threatening, but was quite dehydrated and exhausted when she was admitted to the hospital. The local police have registered her case as an attempt to commit suicide, but this can change if the investigations reveal something else.
Fantasia has been involved in a sextape case, where a woman claimed that the singer was having an affair with her husband and has filed in for child custody. Although Fantasia claims that her accusations are totally false, but she said that she is sorry for all the pain caused.
