Stephen Cannell Dead – Stephen J Cannell, one of the most creative writers, novelists and producers in Hollywood, passed away at the age of 69 on Thursday, September 30, 2010. He died of problems associated with melanoma at his residence in Pasadena, California.

Cannell has given some of the best television treats to his audiences like ‘The Rockford Files’ and ‘The A-Team’. He started of his career in the 1960s and in 1979, he started his own production company.

Cannell had more than 40 television shows to his credit that include “Baa Baa Black Sheep,” “Baretta,” “The Greatest American Hero” and “21 Jump Street.” For his own production house, he wrote 450 episodes and produced more than 1500 episodes.

The surprising part of Stephen Cannell is that he faced a problem of dyslexia when he was a kid and the best part is, he overcame all his problems to be called as one of the best creative producers in the television industry.
