UK Today News: Denise Borino-Quinn Dead – The Sopranos Actress Dies At Age 46
The Sopranos actress Denise Borino-Quinn, died of liver cancer at Morristown (New Jersey) Memorial Hospital on Wednesday. Reports state that her funeral mass took place on Saturday. She was 46.
HBO TV series “The Sopranos” ran from years 1999 to 2007, and Denise Borino-Quinn played the role of Ginny Sacramoni – wife of mob boss Johnny Sacramoni (Vince Curatola). Reports state that actress finally landed the part in “The Sopranos” after being selected from around 14,000 actresses.
The Sopranos is known to have won several awards including twenty-one Emmys and five Golden Globes, and was considered to be one of the biggest American drama series.
Denise was married to Luke Quinn, in 2005. He died earlier this year in March 2010.
