UK Today News: LPGA Golfer Erica Blasberg Dies At Age 25
Erica Blasberg who has been a LPGA golfer since the year 2005 died in Henderson. She was just 25 years old.
Erica Blasberg agent is said to have not gone into details about the death and the reason of her death is unclear. It is reported that Henderson police are investigating.
Erica Blasberg agent, in an official statement said,
“We are devastated to learn of the passing of Erica Blasberg. To most of the world, Erica was known as a professional golfer, but she was more than that. She was a loving daughter to her parents and a compassionate and loyal friend. Erica had a good heart, was extremely kind and very thankful for what she had in her life.”
Erica Blasberg won six tournaments in the span of two years while at the University of Arizona, she also won Pac-10 Player of the Year.
Golfweek named her the Player of the Year in the year 2003.
