Stars from the world of music such as Jamie Cullum and Mark Ronson joined Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood in honor of the late singer Amy Winehouse, at a fundraising event for her charity on November 20, 2012. The stage was taken over by Cullum and Bros singer Matt Goss to perform at the first annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball.

The event took place at The Dorchester Hotel in London. The foundation was created in memory of the ‘Rehab’ singer who passed away in the year 2011. Since its inception, the foundation has managed to raise more than $368,000 for charitable causes in its first year.

Tyler James, who lived with the singer at the time of her death also attended the event. James, who was Amy’s close friend, stressed on continuing the good work done by the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Tyler said, “I had alcohol problems in the past, I went to rehab, I’m lucky to be here. I was taught quite a lot about drugs in school, but no one really talked about the dangers of alcohol.”

The friend of the late ‘Stronger Than Me’ singer added that he is still grieving, but something like this helps him as it is a positive thing. Tyler added that Amy would be proud of her dad and her family who are running the organization.
