UK Today News: Dorothy Provine of ‘Mad World’ Fame Dies at 75

Veteran actress Dorothy Provine, best known as the wife of Milton Berle in the TV series of the 60’s caled “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world,” has died. She was 75.

Her mourning husband, Robert Day, 43, told the press that she died of emphysema at Silverdale’s Hospice of Kitsap County which around 10 miles from Bremerton, Washington.

Provine had acted in a number of movies like – Bonnie Parker Story, Live Fast or Die Young and The 30 foot bride of Candy Rock, to just name a few.

Dorothy Provine also appeared as Pinky Pinkham ABC TV’s own “The roaring 20’s”, and she also appeared in TV shows such as “77 sunset strip” and “Hawaiian Eye”.

Her loss will be felt by a host of people who will be mourning for her, including her son and her three sisters.
