UK Today News: Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has announced her engagement to Hollywood agent Jim Toth. The actress has been dating Toth over the past year, following her split from Jake Gyllenhaal.
A representative of Reese said, “They are extremely happy.” The 34 year-old actress was previously married for seven years, to actor Ryan Phillippe and has two children Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7 from the marriage.
Reese started dating Jim in the month of January following her split from “Brokeback Mountain” star Jake Gyllenhaal. The couple went public about their relationship after two months.
Reports state that Jim has bonded well with Reese’s children from her previous marriage. Rumors of Jim’s engagement to Reese started circulating when Reese was spotted with Jim in many of the up market jewellery shops in LA. The “Legally Blonde” actress divorced Ryan in the year 2007, and the actress had sought joint legal custody of their two children and sole physical custody with visitation rights for Ryan.
