British songstress, Adele is once again ready to sweep yet another awards night after she won four nominations for this year’s Ivor Novello Awards. The singer has won the nominations for her best selling album ‘21’.
Adele has already broken records and earned numerous appreciation for her album and now there are chances that the singer could add a couple of the Ivor Novello Awards to her collection. The album will be competing against the other albums PJ Harvey’s Let England Shake and Kate Bush’s 50 words For Snow for the Best Album.
The tracks Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You have been nominated for the PRS for Music Most Performed Work. Meanwhile the track is also up for the Best Song Musically and Lyrically along with Florence + The Machines Shake It Out and Ed Sheeran’s The A Team.
Johnny Head star Greenwood, the Radio Head star has been nominated for the Best original Film Score category for We Need to Talk About Kevin sound track. Till no Adele’s album ‘21’ has sold more than 4,142,000 copies in the UK due to which it has become the seventh largest album of all time.
