British TV presenter and model Alexa Chung posted a few pictures of her along with her mother on the social networking site, Twitter. Instead of getting some pleasant comments from her followers, the model received severe criticism for being too skinny.
The 28 year old model posted a picture of her along with her mother in which she is seen wearing a shirt denim dress. Many of her 776,000 followers were actually shocked to see the snap which showed the model too skinny.
One of the comments read, “I’m going to be very honest. I look at this picture and think, ‘This is a woman not eating.’ Thus I worry for women everywhere.” To which Alexa responded, “Hi, I am here. I can read.” The model has been constantly accused of being anorexic for years but the model defends that she is naturally skinny and that she gets thinner when she gets stressed.
In the year 2008, while writing to The Independent the model said that her weight is dwindling as she does not have any time to go to the supermarket. Chung now says that she has become thinner as she is working hard.
