A new acting head of Vision has been appointed by BBC, to replace George Entwistle, as its newly appointed director general. Roger Mosey will take on his new job from August 20, 2012.
Mosey is at present the BBC’s director of London 2012. Dave Gordon will be replacing Mosey during the Paralympics as the director of London 2012. Entwistle will be taking up his position as the BBC’s new director general on September 17, 2012. The BBC Vision is responsible for the producing, commissioning, scheduling, commissioning and broadcasting of all the content on BBC’s TV channels. Earlier Mosey was the editor of Today and has also been responsible for the BBC’s coverage of the Olympics.
