Japanese auto giant Nissan has joined hands with fashion magazine Elle and this venture will see the two giants creating a new limited edition version of the Micra Supermini. The new Micra Elle will offer more kits, new colours and include a panoramic roof for fashion-conscious car buyers.
The Micra Elle adds extra equipment along with new body colours as well as special badging. But for prospective buyers, the disappointing news is that the company will be selling just 500 of the cars in the United Kingdom.
The new limited edition car will be based on the mid-range Micra Acenta. The features of the car will include air conditioning, keyless entry and cruise control as standard.
The other features of the limited edition vehicle will also include panoramic roof chrome door handles on the interior, 15 inch allow wheels, chrome trim in the grille and roof spoiler, new seat upholstery, infotainment system and Nissan Connect Sat-nav will be available as an option. There will also be a special Elle badging on the tailgate and front wings front floor mats and front floor guards. There will be a choice in terms of the engine with 9 bhp 1.2 litre engine, three cylinder petrol engine or the super charged 1.2 litre DIG S model.
