The Miss America 2010 winner is none other than Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron .

The announcement was made at about 11pm EST yesterday and Miss Virginia beat 52 contestants from all 50 states including the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico to take the title of Miss America.

Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron is from Fredericksburg, Virginia and is a graduate of Massaponax High School. As part of the Miss America 2010 title, Cameron has received a $16,500 scholarship as well as $1,000 talent award for singing “Listen” from the film “Dreamgirls.” The 22 year old’s platform issue was “Real Talk: AIDS in America.”

The first runner up was Miss California, Kristy Cavinder and she won $25,000.

The judges for the Miss America 2010 pageant were radio commentator Rush Limbaugh, Miss America 2001 Katie Harman, Hollywood actress Vivica A. Fox, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, Dave Koz, former “American Idol” contestant Brooke White as well as actor and comedian Paul Rodriguez.
