After judgement was passed by the High Court in London, allowing Abu Hamza to be extradited to the US, the terror suspect arrived in the United States on October 6, 2012. Hamza along with four other suspects will face terror charges in the US.
The radical cleric was extradited to face a judge in New York within hours of losing his legal battle to stay in Great Britain . Hamza and the other terror suspects arrived at Westchester County Airport in New York at 02:30 am local time. Hamza was taken to a lockup next to the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan. On Saturday, Hamza was expected to be briefly presented before the US Magistrate Judge Frank Maas, and later, is scheduled to appear at a lengthier court session on Tuesday.
